Yielding Empowered Leaders for Radical Discipleship and

The New Evangelization

ABOUT THE HARVEST INSTITUTE

The Harvest Institute (HARVEST) is a ministry of the Ligaya ng Panginoon (LNP) with a mission of Yielding Empowered Leaders for Radical Discipleship and the New Evangelization.

Establishing an institute for evangelization and discipleship has been a long-time dream of LNP that was waiting for the right time.  This vision was first put to the test as LNP ran the Harvest Conference in 2012 which brought together some 300 participants.  This number increased to 500 in 2013 and further to 2,000 in 2014.  In the year 2015, LNP spearheaded the National Catholic Charismatic Conference which was attended by no less than 5,000 Christian workers and leaders from all over the country, and even from overseas.  These conferences received very good feedbacks that included a yearning for more and a deeper level of training for evangelization and discipleship.  The popular clamor to move forward and realize more fruits from the successful conferences as well as the Lord’s call for the LNP to “”Give Greater Sacrifice for a Mission Greater than Us” signaled the right time to realize the LNP dream for an institute in view of God’s call to serve in the wider society and in solidarity with other groups in “Building Nations for God”.

The People Behind The Harvest Institute

HARVEST is governed by an Academic Board (Board) composed of highly respected Christian lay leaders who have volunteered their time, gifts, talents and skills to ensure the success of all programs.  The Board consists of highly respected lay Church leaders, Preachers, Members of the Academe,  devoted Lay Missionaries, and respected authorities in the study and teaching of the Christian doctrine. The Board designs, approves and continuously evaluates and updates all curriculum offerings.  It likewise selects the various facilitators for each subject and evaluates applications to determine those who would be given priority on the limited seats available for each module.
